As a medical practice consultant, Rosemarie has established significant expertise in system implementation. Key to her qualifications and success is the business analysis method for evaluating process and needs and applying solutions to information systems applications. As a manager in the multi-manufacturer Office of the Future project, she led new technology planning and development for improved clinical operations. Rosemarie has managed project implementation teams as well as software engineers in the design, implementation and training of medical practice software. Drawing upon diverse operational, clinical, and financial experience, Rosemarie provides practical solutions to assist medical groups to achieve success in their objectives.
Dr. Bill Anderson is the Physician Director of Quality for HealthSpring Inc. Dr. Anderson has led the evolution of the Pay for Quality Program at HealthSpring from the original seven clinics to an enterprise wide program encompassing 82 sites and 58,000 patients in 4 states over the last 2 years. Prior to coming to HealthSpring, Dr. Anderson practiced general and thoracic surgery for 27 years in a community environment. After retiring from clinical practice in 2004, Dr. Anderson developed Caduceus Consulting, which focuses upon evidence based medicine and quality systems in both the hospital and physician practice environments, with a key focus upon the importance of clinical integration of informatics. Among his clients were Vanderbilt Medical Center, Zynx Health, and Premier Informatics. At Vanderbilt he led the development of evidence based order sets and the implementation of over 200 sets into their computerized order system.
During his career he held multiple leadership and management positions. Dr. Anderson led the merger of the three largest surgical groups in Nashville, TN to form The Surgical Clinic and served as its Chairman of the Board until his retirement from clinical surgery. He also served as a Sr. Vice President of the 600 bed Nashville Baptist Hospital with operational and financial responsibility for surgical services, information technology, resources management, and quality assurance for 3 years.
Dr. Anderson graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University in 1965. He graduated as FounderŐs Medalist (First in Class) from Vanderbilt School of Medicine in 1969 and received his surgical training at Johns Hopkins Hospital, serving as the Halsted Chief Resident in General, Thoracic, and Cardiac Surgery in 1975. He practiced general and non-cardiac thoracic surgery in Jackson, Mississippi and Nashville, Tennessee.
Patsy Brown has been in healthcare for more than 30 years and is presently the Administrator for Summit Medical Associates, P.C. She is a past president of Nashville MGMA and former board member of the Tennessee MGMA.
